La Medida y Cabo de Hornos is a dual video project that incorporates the center of act 5: Proportion of La Medida next to a revelation of Cape Horn under the artists marks. The miniature forests on Isla Navarino, near the Cape are juxtaposed to the enormity of this famous "end of the world" where many ships failed to pass from the Atlantic to the Pacific. The continued curiosity of the artist/scientist, the desire to understand, perhaps to control the natural world is explored in this diptych.
In the exhibitions for the Omora Ethnobotanical Preserve, La Medida y Cabo de Hornos was installed as dual projections on opposite walls.
